God has challenged me to share this e-mail twice a day, every day, for one month. Is God challenging you to respond?
It happens to almost everyone on the mission field, right? Loss of financial support. It happened to us last month. We lost a faithful monthly supporter due to a financial hardship.
We go through all the emotions: How can we continue? What can we do differently? Will God provide?
I believe God puts us in the midst of these trials for many purposes.
1) To show us that indeed He will provide.
How much do we trust Him to do this? A lot? Or a little?
2) To open a door that gives others an opportunity to provide.
How wide can God open the door? Just enough to sqeeze in? Or take-the-hinges off the door and let the light shine in?
I believe God wants to take the hinges off the door!
If you or your church has been praying about supporting us monthly, we ask that you step into that prayer and walk with us at this time.
What your donation provides:
$25 per month – Two to three nights lodging for our monthly outreaches to Northern Thailand. Four people were saved during our last outreach!
$35 per month – A month of online schooling for the girls. Online schooling gives the girls a feeling of independence, which they were needing at the age they are now, and it frees up more of my time for discipleship training and outreaches.
$50 per month – An entire outreach to Northern Thailand. We travel each month to a different province in Thailand to reach the unreached. These outreaches have resulted in salvations and established relationships. We see these relationships flourishing and the hope of the Gospel spreading throughout these unreached provinces.
$100 per month – An entire month of utilities, including electric, gas, water, and phone. We have to live here, and living here comes with taking care of these responsibilities.
Right now, we live with the bare minimum, and that is all we need, but our present support level does not cover the bare minimum anymore.
$500-$1,000-$10,000 per month – Who knows what God could accomplish! We pray for this amount to go beyond our basic living expenses. We don’t want to just live and work by the bare minimum anymore. We are here to make a difference! We are here to bring hope to Southeast Asia and beyond. We want to provide more media resources, to reach nations such as Burma, Laos, India, Pakistan, Afghanastan, Uzbekistan which have never heard the Gospel. We want to reach nations who have no hope. We want to reach nations who are afraid to mail us applications for discipleship training because “it’s not safe.” We want to break down walls, swing open doors, and mend hearts through the power of Jesus Christ.

“… the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling,
what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe,
according to the working of His mighty power … ” – Ephesians 1:15-19 (NKJV)
If you are a new supporter, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can thank you! We have no way of knowing who our supporters are unless you tell us. We like to bless our supporters during special times of the year, like Christmas or when we visit the U.S., with cards and simple gifts from Thailand or a country where we have shared the Gospel. In your e-mail please send us your address so we are able to do this. Thank you!
Not familiar with YWAM or missions work? Here is a little information and history.
What is YWAM?
Youth With A Mission contains Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), our purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known.
When YWAM began in 1960, the main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, according to His command in Mark 16:15. Today, we still focus on youth, but we have members (known as “YWAMers”) of almost every age and many short-term efforts have grown into long-term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations.
YWAM has a decentralized structure that encourages new vision and the exploration of new ways to change lives through training, convey the message of the gospel and care for those in need. We are currently operating in more than 1,000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of over 18,000.
Why Support Us?
Giving to missions is always a sound investment! Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a volunteer movement. Our lack of decentralized funding has enabled rapid growth and means that all our individual staff and ministries partner closely with other believers and church bodies to fund their duties. YWAM does not provide a salary. Most YWAM staff members have financial partners, such as churches and friends, who provide funds so they can be active in their ministries.
