Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | 2 Chronicles 13

I couldn’t remember much about Abijah, so I went back to 1 Kings 15 and did a recap. Turns out, Abijah was recorded as Abijam back in those days, and rather than referencing “The Commentary of Iddo the Prophet,” the historian in 1 Kings references “The Book of the History of the Kings of Judah.” I just think it’s so interesting to think about all the historical documents that were floating around back then. What did they look like? Who wrote them? Where were they stored? Fascinating. I’m going to cut this post a little short today and let you take over.

Writing prompt: Abijah

Write about Abijah. Do some Googling. Tell us a little more about this good king.
