Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers| 2 Chronicles 32

I don’t know about you, but King Hezekiah just warms my heart. This chapter includes a lot of information, but you can read even more about his reign back in 2 Kings. Actually, compared to a lot of people, the Bible devotes a LOT of text to King Hezekiah. Yet, he’s not all that known, or at least, we don’t bring Hezekiah up a lot in Sunday school lessons and Sunday morning sermons or Bible studies. However, maybe we should because he provides some beautiful life lessons about devotion, servanthood, humility, grace, honor and a whole bunch of other descriptive nouns, or whatever those kinds of words are called. I sure would love to get my hands on “The Vision of the Prophet Isaiah Son of Amoz,” but since I can’t, I’ll relish what has been preserved for me to savor.

Writing prompt: lesson

Write a Sunday school lesson, short story, sermon … whatever … about Hezekiah. And don’t just keep it for yourself. Lessons are meant to be shared.
