Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 40

“Now that you have made me listen. I finally understand – you don’t require burnt offerings or sin offerings. ‘Then I said, “Look, I have come (v. 6-7).”’”

“Look, I have come.”

I’m just going to leave that here for today’s reading.

Sum it up:

I waited for You to help me,
And as always, You did.
You don’t even require ANYTHING from me.
Yet, I WANT to give You everything I have.

Keep me safe when I am in danger.
Let those who mock me eat their words.
But may all who search for Your Voice hear it,
And may they be able to share their joy in You
With others.

Writing prompt: listen

Just listen to God today, and dictate whatever He writes on your heart.
