Bible studies for writers | Psalm 58

Much like yesterday’s psalm, I wish I knew the tune of “Do Not Destroy!” so I could jam along with this song of old. Though, I must admit, it’s a bit gory for me. I much rather like my melodies with some sunshine and rainbows, rather then fangs and slime. But, hey, each to his own, right? Either way, the end result is the same.

Sum it up:

Do those horrible people we see on the news
Even know the meaning of justice?
Do they care how the whole world
Is looking at them, judging them?

I hope God gives them what they deserve.
God, please, give them what they deserve.

As for me, I will rejoice while I wait
For justice to be served,
As I know the day is coming,
As promised.

Writing prompt: melody
