Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 60

A psalm “useful for teaching” is how the notes in my Bible describe today’s reading. I can see that. Though, I thought all psalms were useful for teaching, so I thought that particular phrase above this psalm was curious. It is a hopeful psalm, indeed. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Sum it up:

We feel so rejected, Lord,
Like we have made You angry.
You’ve put us through the wringer,
For sure.

But here we stand, hopeful,
That you will keep your promise
To deliver our land from our enemies.

Writing prompt: deliver us

Write a “lesson” about being delivered by grace. If you don’t have a particular story to tell, write a prayer asking for God to show you His great grace so that you can write it down and share your story of God’s grace with others.
