Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 64

“Listen to my complaint.” I complain a lot to God. Well, I wouldn’t call it complaining totally. It’s more like asking why a lot. Most of the times the answer is … just wait. I think we do a lot of waiting in our lives during times of trouble. I think, too, that it was harder to wait when I was younger than now that I am older. I still don’t like to wait, but I know from experience that the wait is just the journey to the prize.

Sum it up:

God, I know I complain all the time,
So thanks for listening.
Thanks for protecting me
And hiding me,
For defending me,
Even when I don’t know You are.
For this, I praise You.

Writing prompt: complaints

Have you had a particular complaint about something lately? Write it out, and ask God to help you deal with it.
