Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 70

Sometimes it’s hard to pray earnestly in times of despair and hardship. It’s even harder to grasp remnants of faith and almost impossible to feel joyful. And that’s ok. God sees us, even when we think He’s not looking. He hears us, even when we think He’s not listening. He has a purpose and promises joy, even when we can’t imagine from where it will rise.

Sum it up:

Lord, I am suffering,
Through all kinds of madness,
And chaos,
And calamity,
And pain.

Double my faith.
Show me where joy will rise,
And help me envision the future
You have planned for me.

Writing prompt: changes

Ten years ago, I never dreamed I’d be sitting in a condo, face-level with a freeway, working from home in downtown Bangkok, er, Khrung Thep Maha Nakhon. But I am. Write about where you were 10 years ago and how your faith has changed during the last decade.
