I often forget that I started this Bible study as a guide for writers to hone in on their gift of writing. This psalm, however, brought that purpose back to life in verse 3: “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.” That’s what I set out to do way back when, when I joined missions. However, most days I don’t feel the slightest bit adequate in following through with those goals. Sigh. I will praise the God who grants my gifts anyhow and ask Him how He would have me use them.
Sum it up:
Sing to the Lord, yes!
And write down your praises, also!
Your words may reach nations,
Rejuvenate hearts
And cause others to rejoice.
