Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 98

I love a good song. More than that, I love to hear my kids sing a good song. Man, I got some good-singin’ kids. I can’t help but smile and get all tingly inside when I hear their voices. I told them years ago that for Christmas all I wanted was to hear them sing a song together. It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m still holding out hope. And if hearing just one of their voices singing gets all my feelers to going, I can’t even imagine what hearing all three of their voices singing together will do to this mama’s heart. What a heavenly sound. Now, just think about how God feels when we all join together to sing a song for Him.

Sum it up:

Sing a NEW song to the Lord,
One that praises His goodness and love,
His victory over evil,
In Jesus’ name!

Sing loudly, no matter what,
To instruments played
And music written
For the One who gives us reason to sing.

Writing prompt: sing

Write the lyrics to your favorite song and dedicate the words to God. If you don’t have a favorite song, write your own or Google one, and experience something new today!
