Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 104

I’m always amazed at the circle of life and how one small thing can affect the greatest of things. It’s fascinating, especially when history gets down the road a little ways, and researchers start digging into why things happened the way they did, and they discover one tiny little act or person that changed the future for everyone. Ok, I’m watching “Outlander,” so I’m going a little off the deep end here, but this psalm – and the notes about it in my Bible – made me take notice of how things change but stay the same. David is saying in this psalm that the Lord is constant. And we can see with our own eyes that many things that David saw, we can still see today, except for the Leviathan. I really want to see one of those.

Sum it up:

Thank you, Lord, for your greatness
And consistency.
You preserve what you create,
And we are proof of that.

Writing prompt: go back
