Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 107

“Those who are wise will take all this to heart; they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.”

As I get older, I’m learning to just take things as they come. I still go on long rants, don’t get me wrong, but I am finding it easier – as I see things happen over and over again – to just let God do His thing and go about my business. Now, that doesn’t mean I don’t pray about things to change or get better, but I do “take to heart” events in the past that eventually have worked out one way or the other, and I accept (for the most part … eventually) that whichever way they worked out was just how they were intended to work out, despite any feelings or emotions or thoughts I might have about it.

Sum it up:

Have you felt loved by the Lord?
Tell others about it!
Tell them how He brought you peace,
How He stretched out His hand when you were troubled,
How He showed you beauty through ashes.
If you believe it’s true, say it!
Write it if you can!
Tell about God’s protection.
Tell about the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
Tell about Jesus’ love.
Those who are wise will listen
And realize God has been with them all along.
