Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 112

There is no greater feeling than seeing appreciation for a gift that’s been given, especially if the gift was given in sacrifice of the giver. However, when gifts go unappreciated, the opposite sometimes happens, doesn’t it? Instead of looking on the situation with great joy, we regret giving the gift in the first place. “Ungrateful jerk,” we (I) probably say! And aye, there’s the rub, huh? Urg.

Sum it up:

How joyful we can be when we fear the Lord
And follow His instructions.
Even our children’s children will feel the blessings
And they will pass them on
So that the light they shine
Shines on forever.

Writing prompt: the gift

Write about a time you gave a gift that went unappreciated.
