Bible studies for writers | Psalm 114

I almost can feel the original rhythm of this psalm. See if you can find it, too!

Sum it up:

When God’s people escaped Egypt,
God made the lands sacred.
Not even the sea dared to try and stop them.
In fact, it aided them on their way
By God’s command!

What’s the matter, big, bad sea?
Are you scared, Jordan River?
Oh, mountains and hills,
what makes you bob up and down?

You should all be fearful,
For with one poof,
He can turn you into mush.
Yet He also can multiply your gifts.

Writing prompt: you’ve got the rhythm

Write a catchy poem that’s got a good beat to it.
