Bible studies for writers

Bible studies for writers | Psalm 123

I just read some news headlines, so I indeed related to having my “fill of contempt” like the writer of this psalm. However, I have learned not to get so darned angry. I’m not saying some anger isn’t good and helpful, but there is a balance, and I truly believe it takes practice and a conscious effort to achieve it. And I also believe it takes wisdom and many, many failed attempts to express ourselves effectively. I know and believe this because I practice a lot! How about you?

Sum it up:

Help me keep my eyes on you, God.
Do whatever it takes to get my attention.
And at the right time,
True justice will be served.

Writing prompt: fill of contempt

Write about something that makes steam come out of your ears.
