If God is not keeping a record of our sins, why should we? Let me direct you to verse 3 of today’s psalm. Furthermore, if we shouldn’t keep a record of our own sins, we darn sure better not be keeping track of others’ either.
Sum it up:
I am at the end of my rope, Lord,
And I desperately need Your help.
I know you have granted me so much mercy.
You have granted everyone mercy!
We’d all be dead if it weren’t for Your mercy.
I am depending on Your loving hands
To bail me out of this mess
That I have created with my own hands.
I can’t wait for Your rescue.
Guys, seriously, listen.
God won’t let you down.
No sin is too great for His forgiveness.
Writing prompt: sin record
Write a list of sins you think you’ve committed today. I mean, don’t go hard on yourself … unless you think you really deserve it. Jk. But seriously, write out all your guilty feelings. Say a prayer of forgiveness. Then tear that sucker up and move on with yo’ blessed self … and just try to do better next time. That’s what it’s all about, right?
