Boy, I’ve been making a lot of plans lately. I mean, I’m a plan-maker by nature, but I’ve been making BIG plans lately, and every time I turn around, God is telling me to slow my roll.

‘Tis customary to want to believe that money solves all problems. But we know that isn’t true, and Solomon points out some downfalls of being rich, like being threatened with ransoms (v. 8).

Getting through all the proverbs one line at a time isn’t easy, and reading them all together at the same time makes it hard for my brain to let each one sink in. Some of them are hard enough to understand on their own!
